Manjung, 21st July 2008: Twinkle Twinkle Little Coal Pieces. Mountains of stockpiled coal is kept moist by automated water cannons. The spraying is to control dust and to reduce the risks of self-combustion under heat. The raw supply can last for about a month if it is not replenished. Less harmful but more costly low-sulphur and low-bitumen grade coal is currently sourced from Indonesia and Australia.
