The Hornbill Tree. As the night sets in, hornbills return to rest on a tree near the jetty.
Will their habitat last? The immediate danger seems to be from the rapid development of the area due to tourism,
than the power station humming nearby. While TNB is doing a commendable job on its own, government environmental
agencies, local universities and NGOs should join forces to enhance and widen existing monitoring efforts.
