Manukan Island, 17th June 2008: Rising. Korean beachcombers trying to build an anatomically-(in)correct sandman. On the last day of the trip, we headed out to idyllic Manukan Resort. According to hoteliers, the introduction of budget air travel has resulted in rising number of West Malaysian tourists. With crystal clear waters and very well-managed facilities, the island also attracts many international visitors.
