Gombak, 4th September 2007: It was one of the darkest skies ever seen at 6:30pm. Even frugal Malaysian drivers turned on their car lights! For me, the rain clouds that blanketed north Gombak and Selayang today provided a wonderful, rare photo opportunity. The sky appeared even more dramatic when contrasted with this colourful mosque in the foreground. Like a true drama queen, she dispersed as quickly as she appeared, leaving not a single drop of rain for me. But then, the local weather is already so unpredictable these days...
