Little Do They Know |
Bukit Melawati, 22nd August 2007: Baby hangs on safely while her mother prepares her food. Little do they know they may soon be separated. Both may soon end up in a cooking pot or a scientific laboratory. What is their crime you ask? Trying to co-exist with humans in what was once their original habitat. In doing so, they may have disturbed a VIP's golf game, broke antennas from luxury SUVs, or messed-up the designer kitchen of someone's pseudo country home. Now, branded as urban monkeys; they are allowed to be hunted and exported. How can we make claims to be a caring, tolerant society when we solve conflicts with Nature through extermination?
