Info / Insights: D.U.K.E. or Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway (Lebuhraya DUKE) spans a heavily populated and highly-congested part of Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley. It starts near the NKVE toll plaza at Jalan Duta and ends at Ulu Klang, near Bukit Antarabangsa. Midway, it also branches out into the Greenwood Interchange for easy travel to Batu Caves, Karak Highway, UIA, Genting Highlands and the East Coast Expressway (ECE).
By connecting to the MRR2 on the other end, Ampang-bound travelers can also proceed to AKLEH (Ampang-KL Elevated Highway), to the KL-Seremban Highway or KESAS. For Ampang residents, it may be the quickest way to get to Damansara, Petaling Jaya and the NKVE. On the opposite end, Mont Kiara and Sri Hartamas residents, can use it as an alternative route to busy Jalan Tun Razak and the Bukit Bintang area.
The partially-completed highway first opened on 9th January 2009. The remaining section (from Sentul Interchange to Kuching Interchange - Duta Link) was completed in April 2009 and opened on 30th April 2009.
Toll Rates: Toll is RM 2 (passenger cars) for all three toll plazas. You only need to pass through a single toll plaza for any single journey.
