Directions: From Jalan Sultan Ismail (northbound), turn into Jalan Doraisamy after the Imperial Hotel. Parking is haphazard and expensive on weekend nights. Car jockeys and car park attendants compete for your business as you inch your way.
Info / Insights: In 2003, several old shop houses on Jalan Doraisamy were converted into dining and entertainment outlets. The early settlers included Bar Blonde and Bar Savanh. The area has since seen changing fortunes for many of the establishments that embraced the then new kid in town, after Bangsar's demise.
Jalan Doraisamy quickly developed into a popular but rowdy strip with bar fights spilling onto the streets ever often. It may have lost some of its shine today but many still patronise the remaining clubs on this (in)famous strip. The Heritage Row umbrella extends to Jalan Yap Ah Shak (Maison) and Jalan Kamunting (Heritage Mansion, Bodhi Tree )

Some of the retired outlets include That Indian Thing, Goa, The Rupee Room, Bar Blonde (now 3 Lounge), Bed, Ivy (now Bar Club), Senja, Kristao
Bar Club and 3 Lounge were partially destroyed by a fire in June 2009.
