1st Ever Russian Film Festival in Malaysia

See some of the best award-winning Russian films
Kuala Lumpur, 17th December, 2008: The first ever Russian Film Festival in Malaysia will run from the 18th till the 21st of Decembe at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. It is organised by the Russian Centre of Science and Culture, together with the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Malaysia.
The
Russian Film Festival is going to be a retrospective screening of some of the best award-winning Russian films such as "The Barber of Siberia", "Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears", "Tchaikovsky", "Shakespeare Did Not Even Dream About It" and "The Cranes Are Flying".
The festival is aimed at familiarising the Malaysian public with Russian cinema which is celebrating its centenary year.
There will be five film screenings at the Plenary Theatre, West Wing Level 3. All Films are shown with English subtitles.
Admission is free.
