Kuala Lumpur, 18th September 2007: The moon rises over the Masjid Asy-Syakirin at KLCC Park. The time is known as the Magic Hour in photography and cinematography. In reality, the magic usually last for about fifteen minutes. During this short time window, the camera sees the sky in a nice bluish hue, capturing the lingering daylight better than our naked eyes. I calculated the moonrise time, direction and trajectory with my Garmin GPS. Earlier I was inside, underneath the beautiful skylight dome of the mosque. See next pic.
