|Kuala Lumpur, 9th August 2007: Janette Hoe in Pink, the Butoh-inspired dance performance that examines gender stereotypes with a twist. Butoh is an improvisation dance which originated in Japan during the 1950s. Lena Ang's choreography combines contorted movements with mime to strike at our notions of beauty (and perfect body parts). Because of the unrehearsed and random improvisations, no two shows will be identical. Don't miss it! It's staged only for a precious few days (10th to 12th August) at the Central Market Annexe.
