Johor Bahru, 6th December 2009: The International Offroad Challenge Of Malaysia (RFC 2009) returns to Johor. The annual event attracted some 300 participants from Russia, USA, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Great Britain, India, The Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Denmark and Malaysia. It was flagged off at the historical Bangunan Sultan Ibrahim by the Raja Muda Johor. See Next Set Of Pics
1st Row Left: Luis greeting Charlie In The Sky. Charlie Chandran, a mutual friend, was an active volunteer who left us a few years ago.
1st Row Right: The convoy led by a Nissan X-Trail police patrol vehicle.
2nd Row Left: Obligatory cultural dance. The Johor Zapin song and its hypnotic drumming somehow kept me mesmerised.
2nd Row Right: RFC Founder & Event Director Luis Wee and The Johor Crown Prince.
3rd Row Left & Right: Flagging-off ceremony with around 150 competition, supporting and services vehicles.
4th Row Left: I'm all red and resting. Red Crocs Off-Road shoes and Red Crumpler camera bag.
4th Row Right. Johor Bahru city came to a standstill as the convoy headed for Sutera Mall and the Prologue SS venue.
